This 4 week progressive class will focus on meditation and a Buddhist teaching called “Right Livelihood”. We will be exploring the most powerful aspects of creating fulfillment through work as part of one’s journey of awakening.

When you work you are a flute through whose heart the whispering of the hours turns to music. To love life through labor is to be intimate with life’s inmost secret. All work is empty save when there is love, for work is love made visible.
~Kahlil Gibran

The class will help you to see how being in line with your work can create a ripple affect in your life with your family, relationships, and most important of all, your happiness and joy.

This is valuable whether you’re feeling the call for a career change, are in a current job you feel stagnant in, or want some tools to work with others, or if you’re volunteering. These teachings can be applied to any of these experiences.

Week 1: Being in line with your ethics
Week 2: Relations in the workplace: negativity vs. community
Week 3: Finding your true calling
Week 4: Making money: your relationship with it matters

You’ll learn how to live in line ethically, authentically and relationally within the paid or volunteer work setting.

Prior meditation experience recommended but not required. This class will help to bring meditation back into your life if it has dissolved or deepen your current meditation practice.

Angela shares 14 years of meditation experience and nine, week-long to 4 week meditation retreats since 2003, bringing a wealth of wisdom to each class and retreat she offers.
